Privacy Policy

OurStudio HQ is a private, invite-only production management tool operated by Kevin Fairbanks for the YouTube channels he and his team own. It is not offered to the public and has no outside customers.

Signing in

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture. We use them only to identify you, check that you have been invited, and show who did what inside the app. We also store the work you and the team enter (videos, tasks, notes, approvals) and a log of changes.

YouTube data

An admin can connect a YouTube channel that our team owns or manages. Connecting is separate from signing in and asks Google for read-only access through the YouTube API Services:

• YouTube Data API (youtube.readonly): the channel's name, picture and subscriber count, and each video's title, thumbnail, publish time and privacy status. We use this to confirm that a scheduled video actually went public on time and to show channel details.
• YouTube Analytics API (yt-analytics.readonly and yt-analytics-monetary.readonly): daily views, watch time, subscribers gained and lost, estimated revenue, and the most-viewed videos. We use this only to show the team how our own channels are performing.

We never upload, change, delete or publish anything on YouTube through this access. We keep each connected channel's daily numbers since the channel started, and its current top videos, for as long as the channel stays connected. The access token Google issues is stored encrypted and is used only by the app's scheduled sync.

Disconnecting a channel in the app deletes its stored YouTube data and revokes our access at Google. You can also revoke access at any time from your Google account's third-party access settings; the app notices at its next nightly sync and deletes that channel's stored data then (always within 30 days). If we can't confirm a channel's access for 25 days, its data is deleted too. By connecting a channel you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service; Google's handling of the data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

OurStudio HQ's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

What we don't do

We do not sell, rent or share any of this information, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. Google data is not shared with anyone outside the team members who can open the app.

Where it's stored

Data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure, which hosts the app. Access is limited to signed-in members and the agents the owner authorizes.

Your choices

You can ask for your account and personal information to be removed at any time, and you can revoke the app's access to your Google account or YouTube channel from your Google account settings.
